Contemporary Minimalist Style House With A Luxurious Interior Design by SB Architects

These design concepts are encouraged to create an expression of contemporary design that is rooted in Northern California architecture. Basic building shaped largely by environmental planning code, which is determined elements such as windows, side yards and notched inset entry and shadow to create movement along the streetscape.
Naturally sloping site was inspired by the idea of the core steps of the private sphere and focus on it by the dramatic skylights, bathing the interior in natural light and form a direct relationship between the private space at the entry level and upper-level public space. Central staircase core also creates a strong vertical wall on the exterior, resulting in a very different composition from horizontal layering typical residence.
