The Bernier Residence With Natural Concept by Paul Bernier

This house in Montreal has a concept of creating a home filled with natural light, soothing, and thinking with everyday life in mind. Expanding home and maintain the quality of the park while working in a variety of zoning regulations. Two boxes were made of glass and wood, a simple volume of the same dimensions, which added to the original house. One box is placed on the roof and the other in the park under the big maple trees.
West corner to open the glass and made on the floor below to allow natural light to flow in and filter down to the ground floor all through the bars of semi-transparent timber bridge from the second floor. Shear wall, semi-transparent surfaces and openings allow for the division and interaction space.
